I was at a Christmas crop at my local LSS and they were on sale and on top of that I had a credit because I had accumilated points so I was able to purchase them at a ridiculous price. For watercoloring this is going to be my fav. The papers are from Bo Bunny - Crazy Love. I used the new and improved Liquid Pearls. Ladies to all of you that have the older ones and were discouraged....you will absolutely love them. They dry with the pearl effect and they are much easier to use with the new and improved bottle. Happy Weekend everyone! First let me say that my blog is a day late. I had company over and I set this as a schedule and for some reason it didn't post.

This week's challenge at The Stamping Bazaar is PUNCHES! I love punches and it adds a beautiful trim to a card or page. I used the image "Allie and Percy on Sled". Aren't they adorable? I colored using promarkers on Stampin' Up Whisper White paper. The papers are from Bo Bunny - Midnight Frost 6x6 pad. I created the sentiment and used glitter paper from Best Creations for the underneath of the sentiment and snowflake. TFL!

Happy New Year!!! The Stamping Bazaar is back with it's first challenge of the year. We have changed things up a bit. The challenges will now be on Friday's starting at 12:01AM EST and finish on Wednesday's ending at 11:59PM EST. Winners will be announced on Friday's when the new challenge goes up. The first winner wins 2 digis of their choice and 2nd winner wins 1 digi of their choice. Once again I will point out that your submission must be to the exact post!!!

This week our challenge is Lace and Ribbons. For my card I used the image "Bikkie's snowman". I used the promarkers for coloring. The papers are from the Harmonie - Blizzard. Hi everyone! Let me say how excited I am to be a part of the Whimsey Digital Stamps DT and this is my first blog hop with the team. I can't say enough how honored I feel to be working along side with an awesome team and exordinary talent.

The Digi Bells Is Having A GDT Call

Do you love Elisabeth Bell images? I do!!! When I started getting into serious stamping and card making back in July my first images were Elisabeth Bell rubber images. I love the cute facture and I can use them over and over again. So imagine when I found out that she now has digi stamps as well. Whoo Hoo!!! You can get them here.

The GDT call is open until January 2nd. I know it's not a lot of time but if you want a part of this awesome team you have to act now. There are 2 sketches to choose from.

I chose sketch #1. I used the stunning new papers from Graphic 45 - Once Upon A Springtime. I love each and every paper from this collection. The flowers are from I Am Roses. You have to check out the store. These flowers are all handmade and they are super affordable. My chipboard flower is from Riff Raff and I used the stunning new Liquid Pearls Flamingo color. First I colored the entire flower and went back around the edges. I used the image "I Love You This Much" and she is colored with promarkers.

I loved these papers so much I had used another Elisabeth Bell image "A Tasty Read" and here is the card. Once again the flower is from I Am Roses. The image is colored with promarkers. The butterfly is from The Dollar Store. The leaves are cut using Make The Cut. TFL!

TSB Challenge #9

Good morning everyone. This is the last challenge for 2010. 2010 was a pretty exciting year. Marina Neira opened The Stamping Bazaar and I was a witness to all her adorable lovable stamps that keep filling the store. 2011 is going to be even more exciting as we bring you awesome challenges which starting January 7 the challenges will go live on Fridays so you will have the weekends.

Todays challenge is not a sketch. Our challenge this week is ALL THAT GLITTERS! You can stickle, add glitter, use gems or anything else you can give your project a shine. You have until Sunday 11:59PM EST to enter. Please do not back link projects, your project must be new and linked directly to your project.

For my card I used the image "Party Time Louisa". She is colored with promarkers. I embossed my background with the snowflake embossing folder and randomly inked in different colors. The glitter I used for the inside of the champagne glass and all around is with champagne stickles. I used Basic Grey gems on both sides of my sentiment. The papers are from Crate Paper - Snow Day. TFL!

A few Holiday Cards

Happy Friday everyone. This is the last weekend until the holidays. I hope you are better than me and have everything pretty much done for the holidays. I just can't believe this time next week we'll be celebrating Christmas. But I have to say I am looking forward to ending 2010 and seeing bigger and better things in 2011.

I have another wonderful image to share. Di's Digi Designs has so many sweet holiday images. This time I used the "Christmas Kiss Me" image. Once again I colored using the Promarkers. The beautiful chipbard is from Riff Raff and I had to use half of it. I colored it using acrylics paints. My sentiment is from Hero Arts and the papers are from My Mind's Eye - Holly Jolly.

I haven't been doing challenges lately because of DT work and life gets in the way. But a few days ago I was blogging and came across this site. I had just finished coloring a magnolia image and knew it would be perfect for this challenge. I found this to be quite the challenge. A white background and white accents. The only things pretty much allowed in color is the image. But I am happy to say I love the results and love the softness.

I am entering this for the Magnolia-Licious challenge "Lots of White".

TSB Challenge #8

We are a little late this week with our challenge. It's challenge #8 with another wonderful sketch.

The Stamping Bazaar team and Marina Neira worked hard to bring to you holiday images. By now you've seen them all. I hope you take advantage of the special sales going on for the digi bundles that are underway. You have to act fast because those specials will only be here for a limited time.

I used the image "Little Angel with Puppy". Another sweet image and I colored it with Promarkers. The papers are from Crate Paper - Snow Day. I used Platinum stickles and glitter paper from Best Creations to create snowflakes using my slice the Fa La La cartridge. And lastly I used some gems from Basic Grey. TFL!

Di's Digi Designs - Hugging Snowman

I truly am a big fan of Di's Digi Designs and her characters are just the sweetest. I was so excited when Diane asked me to join the team. There is nothing more exciting than designing for a product you believe in. :D

What could be more fun than hugging a snowman? We've all done it when we were kids. Hurry to get your winter/holiday digi stamps. It's not too late!

I used the image "Hugging Snowman" for my card. I colored it with Promarkers! See my previous post for a contest for the Promarkers. I used flower soft on the girls coat and diamond stickles on the snow. For the lantern I used yellow stickles to give it a glow. I used My Mind's Eye - Holly Jolly papers and chipboard (the tickets are also from the collection :D). Beautiful traditional papers without being over the top. And lastly I used a prima flower. TFL!

I used the image "Merry Mouse" and colored her with Promarkers. I used the papers from the Cosmo Cricket mini deck - Mitten Weather. I just love the non traditional colors in this collection. I used a snow writer on the edges of my tree to give some dimension and then quickly added glitter. This stuff is great. I used my slice to cut out a snowflake on glitter paper from Best Creations. The scalloped circle was cut on my cricut using Make The Cut. TFL!

Pollycraft's challenge #72 - Chipboard

It's time to whip out your chipboard. This week's challenge at Pollycraft is to use chipboard. Although I have quite a stash I always forget to use it. The chipboard I used is from Magenta - Swirls. I used the pearl paint dabber and then I used Glimmer Mist Chocolate Covered Cherries. The image I used is "Codi With Flowers". I colored her with Promarkers. The flowers are handmade. I have a tutorial a few posts back on the mini roses and I will have another tutorial for the larger flower. Please check back in a few days. The leaves are from I Am Roses.
